For the 14th consecutive year, University of Detroit Mercy is listed in the top tier of Midwest regional universities in the 2015 edition of the U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” rankings. UDM was also featured this year in the publication’s “A-Plus Schools for B Students” category.

University of Detroit Mercy, in partnership with the Archdiocese of Detroit, will award a new Catholic Education University Grant of $5,000 annually for four years to qualified graduating seniors who enroll at UDM and attended Catholic schools from first grade through high school.

Each year, University of Detroit Mercy faculty, staff and students gather in Calihan Hall for the annual "Celebrate Spirit!" event. This longstanding tradition symbolizes the beginning of the new academic year for students, faculty and staff and will include a worship service for all faiths, picnic lunch and student organization fair.

SOUTHFIELD, MI – University of Detroit Mercy will become the 15th campus member of the longstanding private college collaborative, Michigan Colleges Alliance (MCA). Founded in 1949, MCA is recognized nationally for its collective programming to support Michigan independent higher education in areas such as student access, enrollment, scholarships and career opportunities including partnerships with key employers across the state. As a group, the 15 college and university members represent more than 40,000 students, collectively the state’s “third largest university”.
